| The nine member Board of School Directors is the governing body of the school district. The School Board has the responsibility to develop a strategic plan for school improvements, levy taxes, approve curriculum, adopt various budgets, approve long-range capital and financial plans and determine policy. The Superintendent is designated as the chief executive and head administrative officer of the school district. He is the individual who provides the necessary leadership for all educational and financial needs of the school district. Also, the Superintendent is responsible for the administration of the policies of the School Board, and he monitors district compliance with all laws pertaining to education. |
