Meetings of the Board of School Directors follow a regular order of business and are conducted according to Robert's Rules of Order. Since there are usually many matters to consider, the Board agenda is prepared on the Wednesday before the regular meetings which are held on the third Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the High School Library. This information meeting is held in the Board Room of the high school administration office at 7:30 P.M. All available information is presented to Board members in advance of these meetings to aid in the discussions. This meeting is open to the public and an agenda is provided. "Recognition of Visitors" is an item which is on the agenda of every regular Board meeting. Two minutes are given to each speaker or spokesperson who may be representing a group. During times of deliberation or when a motion is on the floor, the general public does not have the privilege of speaking, unless the President of the Board extends the courtesy. If someone desires to speak on an agenda item, he or she should inform the Superintendent in writing prior to the regular meeting. At all times when an individual addresses the Board, the speaker should clearly state his or her name, address and purpose.
