| The Technology Services Department, staffed by Mr. John Tedorski, Director of Technology Services and Instruction, Mr. James DeLuca, Network Administrator, and Mr. Bradley McGranor, Technology Technician, serves the technological needs of students, faculty, and staff throughout the district. Charged with the administration of computer resources district-wide and oversight of other various technology systems, such as television production and distribution systems, the department ensures that these systems are available to support both educational and administrative needs. The department coordinates the purchase, installation, and maintenance of computer equipment, network infrastructure, and traditional media resource equipment throughout the district. Utilizing a combination of in-house staff and outside vendors, the department performs both preventive and needs-driven maintenance and repair of these systems. In order to enhance the learning environment for students interested in technology, the department also sponsors an "TST Crew" at the senior high school. This group of student volunteers assists the department in meeting their mission, while learning technological and interpersonal skills. The most publicly-visible activity for the "TST Crew" is their technical assistance in the production of the district's annual Christmas Telethon. This dedicated group of students also assists in the maintenance and installation of equipment at the high school. |
