Director of Program Development & Compliance
Mrs. Christine Ross will serve in this position, developed to provide additional district-wide leadership and support in several important areas, including special education compliance, gifted education programming, literacy initiatives, and the continued development of consistent systems and procedures across our schools.
Mrs. Christine M. Ross completed her Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Gannon University of Pennsylvania, Master’s Degree in Reading from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Elementary Principal Certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
She began her career in education, teaching elementary learning support and emotional support in the Penn Hills School District. Her administrative career began in the Mount Lebanon School District, where she served as an assistant middle school principal for three years. Before joining the Kiski Area Administrative Team, she spent four years as an elementary principal in the Highlands School District. During her twenty years in the Kiski Area School District, she has served as an elementary principal, reading supervisor, Title I coordinator, and ESL coordinator.
Mrs. Ross resides in Delmont with her husband, Michael, and three dogs, Guinness, Bailey, and Snoopy.
