Dear Kiski Area Cavalier Community,

We are excited to welcome our students back on Monday, August 31, 2026, for the start of the 2026-2027 school year. Our dedicated staff has spent the summer preparing for their return and is engaged this week in professional learning designed to strengthen teaching and learning across all of our schools.

Please also mark your calendars for Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event will again be held on a single evening with extended hours, making it easier for families with children across multiple buildings to attend. We encourage you to visit classrooms, connect with teachers, and begin the year by building those important relationships.

There are also several exciting changes as we begin the year. Our Intermediate School students and staff will return to their newly renovated building after spending the past two school years at the High School. We are also pleased to welcome Meyers Transportation as our new transportation provider and to introduce Qmlativ (Skyward), our updated student and family information system, which will provide families with access to important school and student information.

It is a true honor to serve as Superintendent of the Kiski Area School District. I am excited to begin another school year filled with learning, growth, and opportunity for our students. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we look forward to making the 2026-2027 school year an exceptional one.
