Workplace Safety
"Promoting Safety for All Employees"
The Workplace Safety Committee is made up of employees representing the various classifications of employees throughout the district. The focus of the committee is to promote safety in the workplace by developing and maintaining a culture of safety throughout the district.
The committee meets once a month to discuss issues relevant to employee safety and develop methodologies to assure that our employees perform their job tasks in a safe manner.
Members of the committee are appointed annually and receive mandatory annual formal training in safety issues and accident investigation to allow them to determine factors contributing to any accidents in the workplace.
