2020-21 Learning Resources for Families
The Kiski Area School District, along with all schools in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, faces the unprecedented challenge of continuing education for our students in uncertain times.
Students begin their school year on Monday, August 31, 2020 and all students will access their education through a distance learning model up to and including Friday, September 11, 2020.
Beginning September 14, 2020 we will enter a Hybrid phase of learning while still offering a distance learning model for families who make that choice. Students with last names beginning A-K who choose to come to school will report to school on Monday and Tuesday of each week. Students with last names L-Z will report to school on Thursday and Friday of each week. The district will continue to monitor all Federal, State, and Local guidance to determine when opening schools 5 days/week may become an option. We will follow the Hybrid schedule for students choosing in-person instruction until that time.
Our primary mission to educate all students at the highest possible level to prepare them for their future endeavors remains unchanged. The information contained in the links below highlights the information our families will need to successfully partner with us as we implement our Distance Learning/hybrid model K-12.
If you encounter any difficulty logging into either application please contact our Help Desk at 724-845-8181 option 8. If families have questions about academics, please contact your child’s school.
