Assistant Principal Upper Elementary School (grades 5-6)

The Kiski Area School District is seeking an Assistant Principal for our Upper Elementary grades 5-6. You will work closely with the administrative team to provide leadership and support in all aspects of school operations. This includes collaborating with staff, students, and parents to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You will play a key role in implementing school policies, managing disciplinary procedures, and promoting student achievement and success. Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Principal in day-to-day administrative duties and decision-making processes.

 * Support and foster the PLC process to ensure learning for all students and the continuous reflection of data to improve instructional practices and the common vision of learning expectations.

* Support the implementation of curriculum standards and instructional best practices to enhance student learning outcomes.

 * Foster positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community to promote a collaborative learning environment.

 * Oversee student discipline procedures and implement interventions to support student behavior and well-bring.

* Coordinate and participate in school-wide activities, events, and initiatives to promote school spirit and community engagement.

* Collaborate with teachers and staff to assess student progress, analyze data, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.

 * Serve as a resource and mentor to staff members, providing guidance and support in professional development and instructional practices.

 

 Qualifications

 * Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field

 * Valid administrative certification/license.

 * Strong understanding of curriculum development, assessment practices, and instructional strategies.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to lead and motivate staff, students and stakeholders in achieving common goals.

Maintenance Worker
The Kiski Area School District is seeking a full-time electrician maintenance employee based at our Warehouse. Teacher Substitutes
Kiski Area School District is seeking certified Substitute Teachers in all subject areas for a day-to-day substitute, building substitute, and possible long-term positions. The pay rate for day-to-day assignments is $150.00 per day with an increase to $175.00 after 60 working days. Substitute teachers have a high probability of working as many days as desired.
