Student Assistance Program (SAP)
SAP is an approach to identifying students who may be at risk due to social, emotional, and/or behavioral problems. A student may be referred to the program by a parent/guardian or school staff. SAP involves referral to a team of educators whose goal is to coordinate with the family to develop a plan or, if appropriate, refer the student to internal or external support services. SAP is a caring group that strives to develop positive self-worth in Kiski students.
